We are well aware that Christmas is a very commercial holiday, but despite the copious amounts of money being spent and the yards of gift wrap paper being rustled, we all tend to make some great memories during the holiday season. Gifts are being given and taken, but how many of those gifts actually get used. Not alot of them. Alot of gifts get used sometimes, or end up as accessories in a closet or room. So listen up zealous gift givers, this holiday season you will give gifts they will actually use. Without a hesitation, here is a list of gifts that you should consider this Christmas.
1) Charging Cable Animals: Everyone and I mean everyone has had broken charging cables before. Or they have had the bent cable head situation. Its time to stop playing positioning games with the wire and get them a cute little rubber animal that will hold that charging head in place. It keeps the wire near the head straight and stiff so that it does not fray or bend. A perfect and useful solution that will be permanently attached to their wires around the clock.
2) Ladle Holder: This is for the moms or the cooks. Everyone who cooks faces the "where do I set this dripping spoon." Well fear no longer, these stylish and convenient dishes help hold the ladle. This is particularly useful during the heavy cooking during the Holidays.
3) Makeup Brush Cleaner: You might have to a bit of research on this one, because some cleaners can be a bit harsh on the brushes. But in general makeup brush cleaners are a lifesaver for every beauty enthusiast. They basically whirl the brushes in a tornado of water, causing all the debris to wash out. It cleans alot more than just hand washing. They save time and require minimal effort. The fashionista in your life will thank you.
4) Grocery Bag Hooks: This is a weird one and may not be the most aesthetically pleasing, but it will be used more than you think. These hooks can carry multiple bags at once, shortening the hasty car to house trips. They tend to be very sturdy carrying up to 50 pounds worth of items on one hook. Gift a pair and now they should be able to carry nearly all their bags in one trip!
5) Selfie Phone Ring Light: Forget catching golden hour. With this mini ring light that clips to the top of your phone, lighting for a selfie will be a breeze. All you have to do is turn it on and snap away. It gives your face the same effect as a beauty ring light. This is a quirky gift that will again be used over and over.
6) Organizers: Now you can pick any type or organizer depending on who you are gifting it to. But organizers are always handy. It can be for jewelry, makeup, shoes, stationary, or even kitchen utensils. Organizers tend to become permanent parts of one's routine if it is the right one. This will be that gift that you will probably always see at their house, being used until it falls apart.
7) Non Elastic Laces: These are snap on laces that stretch and flex with every move while delivering the snug fit a shoe requires. This will be a lifesaver for that athlete you know who is tired with that jumble of laces. Let's not even speak of the horrid situation when you tie your laces too tight then the knot won't open, but you can't get your foot out either. That tragedy is too common. Gift a pair or elastic laces. Just do it.
8) Magnetic Eye Lashes: With anything beauty related, research is needed. A new innovation on the market is the magnetic eyelashes debacle. Basically they are falsies that can be used over and over and are attached to the eye with mini magnetic strips. They look just like the glue on kind of lashes. Except with these there is no glue, no pain, and no losing eyelash hair. It is a friendly option for everyday wear.
9) Scalp Massagers: This weird whisk like contraption actually soothes the scalp. Just run it through your hair and let it rejuvenate your follicles and get all those hard to itch areas. Its is bliss in a weird little device. It is soothing and feels like soft nails grazing the scalp. They will end up using it all the time, as it is so addictive, relaxing, and easy.
10) App Store/Play Store Gift Card: Now this one seems like an easy way out, but honestly if you do get someone a gift card to use to buy any apps, music, or books they wanted, you bet they will use it. It's almost definite that they will use it to finally get all the e-products they want. It's also a quick solution of you are running out of gift giving time.
Well everyone, this was my compilation of useful gifts. They aren't flashy, jaw dropping, or extremely expensive. But, they are some of the most useful. They are gifts that will be used by that person around the clock. While every one else hands out the flashy gifts, know that yours will not become decor or an accessory. Your gift will live in their life!
