Super Bowl 2019 Outfit Ideas + What To Do In Atlanta

All the sports fanatics are gearing up for one of America's biggest events, The Super Bowl 2019. This major Football event brings in crowds from all over the country. The game airs all over TV and is documented all over the internet. This year on February 3, the Super Bowl is being held
in Atlanta!

After years, my city is getting the chance to once more host the Nation's largest game. Atlanta has been doing intensive clean up and redecorating to commemorate the honor. The Super Bowl will be held at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium, also known as The Georgia Dome. If you plan on attending the game, having a TV marathon, or attending a Super Bowl party as many do, here are some cute and sporty outfit ideas for the occasion. After the outfits, I will briefly list some things you can do in Atlanta to pass time, as I am sure many people from other States will be arriving to Atlanta as well.

Outfit Ideas:

Now when it comes to the outfits, the desired theme is a casual and sporty look. You can align your outfit with your favorite team or you can just keep it neutral. Here are some outfits you can try:

You can go for the over-sized jersey look. It is comfortable and aesthetically resonates with street style. You can wear tights, skinny jeans, or even shorts as bottoms. Versatility is key here. If you do not want to wear a sports jersey, a minimalist sporty top will do just as well. Any top with numbers or sporty motifs will fit just as well. You can add in some monotone accessories to elevate the look whilst keeping the attention on the outfit itself. Hoodies and tank tops are also easy ways to create layers. High socks and sneakers give off a girly and preppy look that can any athletic outfit a more feminine touch.

You can also opt for the cheerleader look. All you would need is a crop top and a pleated skirt. This one if perfect for girly girls who would not wear a jersey or a track suit if their life depended on it. There is something for everyone. This is an event wear you can even play up your sweats. The Super Bowl is one of the few occasions where style and comfort can meet. As for the details, you can throw in pom poms, foam fingers, high pony tails with large bows, painted face stripes, headbands, sunglasses, baseball caps, and so on.

Once you pick out your main outfit, whether it is a jersey, a track suit, or a preppy cheerleader skirt, you can easily build up from there. Don't go crazy with the colors and try to keep patterns subtle. Think comfort and subtlety rather than loud and flashy.

What To Do In Atlanta

Naturally, if you are in a city, you would want to explore. There are a few places in Atlanta worthy of planning ahead for. For example, you can visit the Aquarium. The Georgia Aquarium is the largest aquarium in the United States, with  nearly 10,000 species of sea animals.

Consider heading over to Olympic Park. This beautiful park is cropped in the middle of the city in the down town area. It is significant because, the Olympic Games were held there once. The park has a nice view of the city, statues, small creeks, fountains, and a brick lined path with the names of the different Olympic athletes who had once played there. It is even more beautiful at night, when the 5 Olympic rings under the fountains light up.

You can even stop by and check out the CNN headquarters in Atlanta. This one is not as riveting, but it is very cool to see the place where all the major news comes from. Plus, the inside of the CNN building is very stunning. You can shop in there, take a tour, or simply take cute photos to pass some time.

You can visit a hotel called Westin. It is one of the tallest skyscrapers in Atlanta, with a posh restaurant on its highest floors called Sundial. The restaurant is in a circular form and is encapsulated by  glass walls, making for a heart stopping view of the city from all angles. You can even ask to visit the Observatory Deck, where you can see the view from the highest point in the city. The view really is worth it. They even have a glass elevator that ascends you up to the highest floors. It can be exhilarating to watch the city grow smaller under your feet. This one is worth the try.

The next option for pass time, is visiting Buckhead. This district of Atlanta is rich, high end, and upscale. It is full of posh cafes, art galleries, and designer boutiques. It is worth the visit, despite the incredulous price tag. It is one of the nicer parts of the city. Buckhead alone offers a lot to do. You can have a nice dinner, visit a few tourist attractions, and go window shopping in all the high end boutiques.

The last place for this list is Under Ground Mall Atlanta. This is essentially as the name applies. A cool network of street trendy stores underneath Atlanta. It is located close to the Georgia Dome. For people who like Urban culture, street styles, and fast food, this commercial strip is for them. You get to descend a staircase to an underground mini mall. It is a unique concept and pretty fun to check out.
