Fashion is like history. It always repeats itself. What was trendy in the past always come full circle and manifests itself into modern fashions. Lately, I have noticed that that "Girly Vintage" style is being brought by many. If you want a good idea of this style think of Ariana Grande's style in her early pop music years. Another good example is the youtuber Gabi Demartino's aesthetic. These retro chic and pastel vibe is trendy once again. So here is how you can get the look!

First of all you want to embrace the pastels. Pastel pink, mellow yellow, mint green, and baby blue are your new wardrobe palette. Soft and faded colors like beige and ivory whites are essential. Its all about creating a feminine, youthful and doll like appearance. So slowly start shopping for clothes in those tones. Nothing you buy has to be pricey, because style is what you make of it. Just stay keen on purchasing more pastel items the next time you shop.

Secondly, you want to embrace girliness. Think furry jackets, laced dresses, blouses with poofy sleeves, long soft dresses with cute collars, high heels, cute small purses, flowery chokers, cute headbands, plaid skirts, and so on. To enhance the look use some subtle sparkle on your skin. The Fenty Beauty Fairy Bomb, is a puff ball of glitter made just for dabbing on to your body to give it a slight sheen.

Some staple pieces you should have are plaid skirts, pastel dresses, and flared puffy blouses. If you are really on a budget, these 3 items should be your go to. The rest of the look can be enhanced through accessories.
Now when it comes to accessories, think dainty, not bold and flashy. Pendant necklaces, pearls, shimmering chokers, puffball earrings, and pastel berets are some of the best items to get for this style. When it comes to purses, stick to tans, whites, and pastel tones. Try to find purses in cute shapes like a heart, or stick more boxy shaped purses for that girly retro feel. Puffy keychains can always help turn an ordinary purse into a vintage and soft girly purse.

Shoes are always a necessary. For shoes stick to tan or beige boots, velvet or suede heels, floral heels, ballet flats, pastel canvas sneakers, silver glittery heels, and school girl style heels. All in soft and neutral tones.
Finally coming to makeup and hairstyles, classless is the key. Soft, gold-bronze, and natural makeup is the way to go. Add in some soft shades of lip color and a subtle shimmering highlighter to seal the look. Play around with the colors and sometimes opt for the baby pink tones. Hairstyles can include long or short hair. Some examples are bobs, hair with bangs, long hair curled at the ends, soft wavy hair, straight long hair, high ponytails, pigtail braids, and soft buns. Use hair bows and ribbons to really emphasize the look.
You can always add your own flair to any style, but should stay within the realm of girliness, femininity, pastels, and daintiness. Think of those old porcelain dolls and China tea cup sets. That sort of aesthetic.
