Heyylloo Blogger World! Halloween is slowly creeping into our calendars. By now many houses have already hung up decor and made costumes. You can very easily buy cheap Halloween decorations or you can make your own decor! Making your own decor will give your house a unique look and make you standout. Here are a few ideas I brainstormed for easy and affordable decor to make. You can do it with your families or friends and make it a nice Fall activity! Let's not beat around the bush and let the spookalicious decorations begin!

FABRIC WEBS:
Grab an old black sheet. It can be bed sheets or any cut of a long black fabric. Make sure it is something, you do not need anymore! Now, grab a pair of scissors and shear through the fabric haphazardly. Be creative and random! Make cuts, tears, and fringes all over the fabric. You can even mix in other colored fabrics, like dark red and white. Once you have shredded up cuts of long fabric you can drape them outside of your house, on trees, on furniture, or on windows. Apply some tape to hold it in place and you have your very own fabric webs. The webs are long and large enough to cover vast spaces and create a dark and gloomy effect over the premise.

CREEPY GLASS JARS:
You can go crazy with jars, especially since they have been a massive trend these past years. Gather up all your glass or mason jars and get ready to make them funky! You can fill them with all sorts of gore filled, bloody, and freaky items. You can easily set them around the house for a Frankenstein vibe. The jars can be filled with plastic frogs, spiders, and snakes, which can easily be bought at the dollar store. Fill them up with red juice or red food coloring or red paint to make the contents seem as if they are submerged in bloody water. You can even make it cute and place Autumn leaves, small candles, and golden glitter in them for some elegant Fall decor. Fill them up with orange and black beads, webs, candy, pine cones, crushed leaves and roses, crystals, and so much more. The options are endless and it all depends on your creative vision. These jars can take up any theme!

COFFEE / CUPCAKE FILTER WREATHS:
Gather up your coffee filters and colorful cupcake wrappers! Choose any colors, prints, or shapes you like. Gather some autumn leaves from outside. Grab a needle and string so you can chain all the leaves and papers together. You can create patterns, add flowers, paint the filter papers, and even make long chains. You can make anything you like with this idea, wreaths for your door, long garlands for your garden, long chains to decorate the party room, and even hang them from the ceiling as streamers! They are lightweight and flow swiftly from the breeze, thus escalating the Halloween vibe in your house.

SPOOKY TREE:
Gather up some branches and twigs. Use fabric, string, or coil to tie them up into a large bunch. Place them into a flower vase and decorate the bare branches. You can add bats, mini pumpkins, candy corns, and lights. This tree can serve as a great centerpiece and can be the Halloween version of a Christmas Tree! You can decorate this tree in any theme you prefer. You can even teepee it with toilet paper or red paint for blood.

OUIJA BOARD DECOR:
For this you will need a few Ouija boards. It doesn't matter if they are fake or cheap. Any type will work just fine. Unfold the boards and hang them up around on the walls to bring a dark atmosphere to the premise. Save the Planchettes and only hang up the boards. Now, use the Planchettes to make cute Halloween themed necklaces. You can add these to your costume, give them out as goodies, or even hang them up along with the rest of your decor. It is so simple. Just string beads through the eye of the Planchette! You can use paint, glitter, rhinestones, and various other adhesives on the necklaces for an extra touch. Be careful of this DIY though, just in case you are suspicious!

THE EERIE LIVING ROOM:
Part of decorating for Halloween entails creating a malicious and atmospheric setting. That can very easily be done by just draping white sheets all over the furniture to resemble an abandoned "haunted" house. This is by far the easiest and quickest Halloween decor fix. Draw the curtains shut and keep the party room barren, with nothing but white sheets draping everywhere. You can add Halloween decor on top of it all, but the sheets will really take your living room from a family room to an abandoned haunted room really quick!

HALLOWEEN LANTERNS:
Use colorful construction paper to make small pumpkins. Draw on creepy pumpkin faces using black markers and then string a fairy string light through the chain of pumpkins. Turn on the lights and it should look as if the pumpkins are glowing!

WITCHY SHRINE:
This one is a personal fave! It is also super easy to do! Set up a table and drape it in dark fabrics. Push it up against a wall. Hang up pentagrams on the wall above the table. You can hang up stars, moons, or Witchy quotes or symbols. Now onto the table, you can place a cauldron on it, scatter crystals and marbles all over it, make a faux witchy broom using branches to place on it, add some mini pumpkins, ouija boards, scented candles, crushed up flowers and leaves, a wand that you can buy or use a dowel from a craft store and paint it to your liking, place a Witch hat onto it, and finally toss some glitter over the whole shrine to make it seem magical!

And this wraps up the list of Easy Halloween Decor. Many of the items can be made at home or purchased cheaply at a dollar or craft store. Be creative. Be unique! Go all out with it or keep simple and elegant. These decor ideas typically cover large areas so they should be enough to creepify your little Halloween space. Get out there and make this a Halloween to remember!
