Heyylloo Blogger World, as you may have noticed I changed the layout of my blog once more. Sigh. I know I change it a million times, but I think this is the "one." The previous one was starting glitch in font sizes and types, it was a mess. We are well into September now, and schools/colleges have begun everywhere. September is the month where we are all on top of our game, only to fall off later in the year. But, lets be super positive and preppy for the fall season ok? I have a slight addiction to paper. I buy too many journals and diaries. Even sketchpads. If your like me and you've got a journal, or just an extra notebook, then lets fill those pages and make it worthwhile. Here is how you can fill up those journal pages!
1) P L A N N I N G
One of the best things to do with a journal is planning. Write down your to do lists, plan your days in advance, write down all your schedules. In an essence, kind of like a bullet journal. There is always somewhere to be, assignments to finish, things to get done, so you should easily burn through pages just planning. Have you seen my planner at the end of the year? It looks like a sorry mess. That is how yours should be. Use it to death and actually make it worth it.

2) P H O T O G R A P H Y
You are bound to make memories every year. Why not put in some cute photos you take during the year? If you don't take photos, you can easily print many nice ones that reflect your year off of the internet and collage them into your journal. This is probably the easiest thing to do in a journal.

3) D R A W I N G S + A R T
You don't have to be exceptionally skilled to doodle a few pages into your journal. If you really feel poorly about your drawing skills, you can resort to abstract art. You can even watercolor in your journals. Or if you are good at illustrating, you can make small comics based on your life. This all depends upon your skills and interests. Worst comes to worst you can make stick figures, but atleast color them to make them cute!

5) C O L L A G E
This one is also super easy! All you have to do is collect. Book marks, receipts, concert tickets, cards, stickers, images, tags, flower petals, and so on. Then you can collage them in various artsy ways. The idea with this is that you don't know the outcome, but a collage usually has an awe striking outcome.

6) D R E A M S + N I G H T M A R E S
Record your dreams and nightmares as you remember them. Chances are a few days later they will fade instantly from your memory. Write them down so you can look back and reminisce, draw conclusions about your subconscious, and even find truths about yourself. Realization happens in the weirdest of places.

Well now you have 6 new ideas on how to fill your journals. I will be back with more journaling posts soon. Until then tame those empty pages and make those pages worth it. Lets try again to burn out in the middle of the year and keep the Autumn motivation till Summer when we can finally relax.
Thank You For Reading,
-ISBAH xoxo
