I love Fall. Love the season. The chilly winds and saturated leaves are a beautiful sight. But with Fall comes school. With school comes stress and a feeling of always being on edge. Now, I have to go back to college in a week and I've been thinking. I have a set Back To School routine that works very well for me and maybe it can help you.
First of all, I stock up on 5 subject spiral notebooks. These
go out fast, so the earlier the better. I used to a Binder type of gal in
middle school and early high school, but I outgrew those fast due to the
overall messiness and tendency of pages falling out. 5 subject notebooks have a
been a game changer. I know alot of people hate it when a section runs out and
you need more. So what I do is that, I devote 2 sections to my heavy classes
like Sciences or Maths. And I use single subject spirals for my lighter
classes, like electives. So far it has worked out fine for me.
I also stock up on pens. Lots of them. I do not buy super expensive or "trendy"
pens. Usually, I just hit the dollar store and find the nicest gel pens to buy.
I also stock up on colored pens. I usually get cheap colored pens, since they
are only used for annotating and not actually writing. People are usually
surprised to find out that my pens are not high end, since they write so
nicely. Never underestimate your local dollar store, try out all the nice
brands there and see what works. Trial and error makes the process smooth
eventually, and you save money!
Jeans and Leggings are also another essential. Every school
year should start off with the right pairs of jeans and leggings. Jeans and
Leggings make every outfit easy, since you can then just toss on a top over it.
I reserve a whole shopping day just for these items. Trying on jeans and
Leggings is a strenuous process and finding the right pairs even more so. Once,
I find a good few pairs, I am basically set for the year in terms of
wardrobe.

Plastic containers, Ziploc bags, and water bottles are very important. Toss
away old Tupperware that has had it's run and replace it with new Tupperware
that is compact and sleek whilst holding larger quantities of food. It will
ensure smoother lunch prep. Ziploc bags are super essential, since most of my
lunch is dry foods, I can easily toss them in and go.

Large, divided, expandable files will save your sanity during the school year.
I tend to make alot of review notes and study guides. Too much paper causes
clutter, so I use these types of large files and organize all my used notes and
study guides by class. This way I can take old sheets out of my folders and
store them away. So, when the end of the year rolls around when finals are
lingering over my head, I have all my old notes and review sheets ready to go
and not lost in a clutter of paper somewhere.
Another item that is an essential is a go to pair of shoes. Sure, some of us
have tons of shoes, but we all have a go to pair. A pair that is perfect and
fits nearly everything. When you are in a rush or in an wardrobe predicament,
the go to shoe can relieve you of the footwear aspect of an outfit. Choose
something with neutral tones, cute and usable for all seasons.

Microsoft Word! I know it's random, but Word usually expires every few years.
Check to make sure you are covered for the year. If not, download the software
immediately and get rid of all the technical jargon before school begins. This
includes setting up your printer and stocking up on copy paper.
This wraps up the list of Back to School Essentials! My Fall term for College
has begun again and its been one day and I am deceasing of exhaustion. Anyway
back to the usual commotion of education. Hope you all found this useful and
have a great School Year!
Thank You For Reading!
